"Flash, but not Flawed."
2 stars"

The game is visually stunning. There are plenty of nice touches with animation and stadium detail and the crowd sounds and reactions to players is impressive. The commentary is OK and up to par with other FIFA games. Game play is tight, though I encountered some freezing for a second or two during offline play. Character models also look like they are skating at times along the grass but the player collision physics are not so dramatic. Online play is fine as well, though expect to have your opponent drop out of play if they are loosing with 5 minutes left on the clock. Creating players and teams and leagues is easy and the training mini games really help unlock little play tricks. The one gripe was career mode which seems to have a play ending bug still, even after a couple of patches. It is pretty much unplayable. This is apparently common, though not everyone seems to be getting this issue. This was a real shame as this part of the game was great with weekly media build up for matches and player news and league and international jobs really immersing you into the career mode. Check online if you are going to buy this game to make sure this has been patched. If you are really into career mode though you might be disappointed.

"Worst fifa yet"

In terms of content and game play fifa 13 is very good, lots of improvements from fifa 12. HOWEVER this is the worst fifa yet due to the fact that it freezes so often and despite 2 patches so far this hasn't yet solved the problem. This freezing would not be so bad except for the fact that it freezes repeatedly at the same point, effectively halting your in game progress and leaving you infuriated at the long period of time you have spent to get to that point only for the game to freeze. FIFA 13 has potential to be great but only if EA sports can fix the problems people around the world are experiencing. Very disappointing from my favourite games franchise.

This is the best Game of the genre…online features are amazing and good graphics just an icing on the cake. First Touch mechanism gives a lovely true football feel and provides chance of 50–50 possession making skill and wits the key to winning.

i recommend this to all football lovers.

"Best football game yet"
5 stars"

Once again EA Sports do not disappoint in releasing the best football game yet.

It probably helps that I have finally got a PS3 after playing the 3 versions of FIFA on PC and PS2. At a glance you could easily be mistaken for thinking it was a real match on the screen.

Visually stunning as you'd expect from EA Sports and the gameplay is very fluid and realistic. The new first touch feature is a great addition as no longer does the ball stick to your player's foot like glue regardless of the pass. If you send a bad pass, it's often difficult to control. Players with poor control in real life don't always control the ball perfectly on the game.

The new match day and up to date features are nice. You get up to date commentary about things that have happened in real life (for instance as Arsenal the commentators made a lot of out Giroud's failure to score for the first few weeks). You also get other things that add realism to the atmosphere just as your crowd booing certain players as they would in real life (eg, again at home as Arsenal against Man City Nasri was booed, and against Man United Van Persie was booed). The mode to play the coming weekend's fixtures with the current available squad including injuries is an interesting new addition. I can see myself playing it each week in an effort to simulate the upcoming game for my team.

The new skill games are a nice touch as they give you something different to do and are a good way to practice passing and shooting accuracy.

Great game and a must play for any football fan.
