Citadel Snow is a superb way to bring the bases on your figures to life. It's as easy as painting the base of your unit and when the paint is dry paint a layer of PVA glue over the base and put the top of the base in some snow for a few seconds. Take it out and tap the base to get rid of any excess snow.
