"Pretty good but not as good as the last two."

Single player campaign is not as fresh and doesn't have that “wow” impressive factor following the “realistic” Battlefield 3 with its destructible effects and supposed realism. Its nothing compared to the Bad Company series which didn't feel like a excessive chore when replaying missions for achievement points. I have played through X360 campaign and have yet to finish the Xbox One campaign but I can say now that I really can't be bothered, I only will eventually do so – twice – to get the achievement points. The multiplayer is great, YEARS of game play replayable multiplayer here. Buy it. Buy Premium. Compulsory for BF4.

Not a bad game enjoyed BF3 a bit more, might be due to other games being out at the same time.

Awesome graphics, auto saves all the time so no more starting from the beginning and good story line.

"Not long enough"

I went into battlefield 4 wondering what the campaign would be like. Wow visually outstanding but there were a few glitches in framerate and voice overs. Ok that can be expected from such a big game BUT the campaign being only 7 levels long and I know people will say no one plays the campaign they only play the multiplayer. Thats rubbish I play the campaign on every game I get and then play multiplayer mainly because I think campaigns in games will soon not exist. One redeeming feature luckily is multiplayer. So if you want a campaign FPS get COD Ghosts easily the best COD since MW2 plus it has 18 missons instead of 7 but if you like destroying buildings and playing against a massive amount of people get Battlefield 4.

"The best fps of its class!!!"

This is as close as you can get to a war simulator. The movement of the player is this game is amazing and plus 64 player vs online is insane. A wicked story mode but multiplayer is where its at lots of stuff to unlock and lots to learn. A must have for any fps lover.

Visually stunning, brilliant gameplay and all round superb game. This is probably the best of the Battlefield games since Battlefield 2: Bad Company.

"Love it! but its buggy" Purchased on Mighty Ape

Playing it on the xbone, good graphics!!! Unfortunately the game is buggy, kicking you out to the home screen during game play. Also, the EA servers are rubbish and at times it can be difficult finding a game. I'm also a huge COD fan and would like to say that I prefer bf4 over cod ghosts, even with the bugs.

I love this game, it's great fun

"Still loving it months and months on"

Ok..... I was never a big Battlefield fan to be honest, have pretty much been into Halo and anything else other than BF franchise........ However, I got into BF3 a bit and hit about lev 25 before giving up, but kinda liked it. But what can I say- BF4… Love it, converted my work mates to playing it, Got it on 360 first… upgraded to premium and when Next Gen came I got Xbox One version. if you are thinking of getting this game and you like a team based game with a challenge then buy it!!! Every match holds something new, I have had nights of pure laughter, and purse rage, and games of pure adrenaline down to the wire combat. met some cool new friends to squad up with… so get this game, its seriously better than COD Ghost as far as longevity goes.

"Just frustrating"
4 stars"

I have had a rough time with Battlefield 4 having purchased it at launch. Since then I have run into numerous bugs and annoyances that prevent me and my brothers from enjoying the game.

What I had played of the campaign was very fun (the first 3 levels). The graphics were amazing and truly felt like next gen, and I enjoyed the characters and story telling of the first few levels. But after having my entire progress into the campaign wiped at least three times due to corrupted saves I just don't think I can be bothered to try again. As of now I am not sure if this bug has been fixed but it has happened to me and my brothers enough to stop us from playing it. We could just be unlucky as I hear others can finish the campaign no problem, but I've just had enough.

Initially the multiplayer looked and felt like it was going to be a blast and I enjoyed it for a few days. I guarantee that playing it with a group of friends would be great fun. It doesn't seem like the developers intended for a solo multiplayer experience (although certainly not impossible), as team communication is a very important aspect of the multiplayer. It did get annoying as I played more of it though. Nothing feels worse than dying then watching your opponent run off with 0 health shown over and over again, or my enemies having seemingly overpowered weapons compared to my peashooters. I was never a big fan of Battlefield/Call of Duty style multiplayer anyway, but when I start a game that for some reason has no sound other than the occasional smidgen of music (probably a bug) and enemy snipers everywhere killing me on spawn, that's when it's time to stop playing.

Overall this game isn't for me. I enjoyed what little I could play of the campaign but wasn't too fond of the multiplayer after a while. This was the first Battlefield I have played though, so if you are a fan of Battlefield then you should see what others say. Just make sure you do your research before purchase so you don't regret it in the future.
