This is huge in every direction. The plugs on the side could be a problem in some cases, you'd probably won't at least 160mm of cpu cooler clearance.
This card runs really hot, about 85c on full load. The volume is tolerable at load, amazingly quiet anywhere below there.
Probably 30–40% increase over my R9 280X. I wanted the sapphire but it was sold out this ASUS model has a higher clock speed but is more expensive no issues really. After a lot of research I believe for me a R9 390 was a better option than a GTX 970 just with the more grunt (8 GBP vram) for higher resolution gaming.
