Easy delicious recipes. Another winner for Annabel Langbein!
I love Annabels books and this one is no exception. I made her chicken biryani and her ginger slice and both were easy and tasted fab. The chicken tasted even better the next day. My all time favourite recipe of hers (been claiming it as my own for years) is her belly pork in milk, love it!
Annabel always manages to get one's creative juices flowing, whether you follow her recipes precisely or tweak them to your taste. I love how she deals with food. This is another great one for the collection.
The fourth installment in Annabel’s series of seasonal publications, Share the Love brings together more than 120 soul-warming eating ideas, including everything from cosy brunches and hearty oven bakes to zesty winter salads and easy Asian dinners.
"Whether it's a simple pot of soup or an elaborate multi-course dinner,
cooking gives us
the chance to share the love,” says Annabel.
“I wanted to show that winter food doesn’t have to be bland and stodgy.
It’s all about
keeping your tastebuds tempted with creative combinations of tastes and textures
drawn from a global pantry of flavours.”
A whole chapter is devoted to make-ahead meals that will wow your friends at your next pot-luck dinner party, another focuses on family friendly sausage recipes, and a third suggests innovative new bento lunchbox ideas.
For the sweet-toothed, there’s a decadent collection of best-ever chocolate baking, some sublime citrus desserts and Annabel’s favourite autumn preserves.
Famous for her clever cooking tips, Annabel offers advice for adapting all your winter favourites for the slow-cooker, and a handy survival guide for that oh-no moment when you realise you don’t have the right size cake tin.
A six-week meal planner offers simple solutions for weeknight meals, while Annabel also provides menu suggestions for every occasion, including a vegetarian feast, gluten-free guests and entertaining on a shoestring.
This inspiring new recipe collection is backed up by shopping lists, gardening charts and bonus cooking tips and tricks on Annabel’s website at annabel-langbein.com.
