This keyboard has a really great feel to it with nice clicky keys that make that satisfying clack sound when they are pressed, and yet are sufficiently springy enough to not cause any hand strain when typing really fast or playing your favourite fast-paced video game.
The multimedia buttons at the top come in very useful on a daily basis (the internet buttons are a nice touch too, though most people would likely just use the icons in their web browser instead).
The keys are very easy to pry off and put back on without damaging them in the event that you get potato chip crumbs in them while watching a DVD or movie online, or pet hair from your feline friend standing over your keyboard while you are trying to type. The keyboard also has little holes in the bottom for drainage in the event that you accidentally spill liquid into it, but if you were to ever accidentally spill chocolate milk over it, I'd imagine that you would want to deliberately pour lots of water in afterwards, else the keys would stick for sure.
My only 2 complaints about this keyboard are:
- the keyboard is entirely black – there is no silvery finish around the skirting of the keyboard like is shown in the picture (I even bought two and both are the same) though this could be remedied by unscrewing the keyboard and manually spray painting the particular parts yourself, or else just leave it as it is, since the silvery finish would rapidly wear out anyway.
- The LED lights work fine for the caps lock and num lock, but doesn't function at all when scroll lock is pressed. But then again… Who uses scroll lock for anything-
