I was a big fan of the big DDR machines in arcades and was hoping a little for something like that when I bought this. The mat is great and a novelty to play on for a while, but the limited list of songs and repetitiveness of Club Mode (which is pretty much the only way to unlock trophies) grates on you if you play for a while. The calorie counter is pretty cool and there is a small amount of DLC for it, but it's not really much to make up for a game that's a far cry from the old DDR.

Dance dance revolution is super fun for all ages and a great work out. Great songs and hours of dancing in the club mode. Only thing to note is that the levels jump drastically. Beginner is slow and very easy, Basic is a good level for most people decent speed and easy steps a bit harder than beginner but the jump to difficult is massive speeds up and there are too many steps thrown at you. Over all a must have for your in house party's or exercising alone .

It's nice to jump on the mat and start dancing time to time, but since there is a limited tracks you seem to listen to same old song over and over again. DLC is coming along so this product won't be disappointing. It's nice to move around one in a while instead of sitting down and playing games.
