Author Biography:

Wayne Persky was born, grew up, and currently lives in Central Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, College of Engineering, with postgraduate studies in mechanical engineering, mathematics, and computer science. He has teaching experience in engineering, and business experience in farming and agribusiness. Faced with debilitating digestive system and health issues that developed in mid-life, he discovered that the mainstream medical community was generally unprepared to provide effective support and treatment for health issues that are caused by dietary problems. He was inspired to spend thousands of hours over more than a dozen years studying research articles in medical journals available on the Internet in order to understand and treat his own dietary issues. He currently administrates an online microscopic colitis discussion and support forum, while continuing to research medical issues that are not adequately addressed by mainstream medicine.
