The reviews are right, it is the best “bang for buck” UHD screen bar none at the moment. Why bother with a more expensive 30" or 32" screen when this 40" beauty can be had for less. Fantastic blacks, great colour and probably the only thing I would mark it down on is you do see a little colour shift off centre but it's not bad. I've come from a 3 screen setup and now just use this and a single 24" in portrait mode, works a charm. It's true, you get use to the size really quickly and the dpi is such that I've only increased screen scaling to 110% – younger people with better eyes can probably leave it at 100% no problem. Fantastic for productivity, online trading & photography (my main activities) but gaming is good too if you have the card to drive it. It up-scales better than most screens I've seen in the past so even 1080p gaming looks good if it has high quality textures to start with. 1440p gaming works really well and would by enough for all but the most demanding users. The level of immersion is high in games like Project Cars and it really does fill your field of vision. My brother got one as soon as he saw mine, he loves it too. Overall, as you can probably tell, this has surpassed my expectations and I'm really pleased with it.
