I purchased the 27" AOC Agon gaming monitor and Baboon computer on recommendation from Mighty Ape for my 15 yr old son who is very happy with both for performance and speed for his gaming applications.
The monitor is bright (whites may even be a little too bright, even after calibration), with okay colour reproduction. One huge drawback for me is that there is no way to change the sharpness (When using Displayport connection) of the image and it's default setting is way too sharp. Sever colour banding as well, images appear with clear divisions between different shades of a colour when looking at a gradient colour; especially in darker areas. The menu is also rather cumbersome but luckily you can also simply install the software bundled with the screen and change the settings from there. In summary, if you will be using it for gaming, it's fine but for anything else, its mediocre at best.
