"Exellent, especially considering the price."

Purchased on Mighty Ape

This is a very high quality monitor. And gives you a lot for the very cheap price tag. The 144Hz works perfectly as far as I can tell, it is extremely smooth and transformed the experience for the games I play like CS:GO and TF2 exponentially, even simple web browsing, or writing this review became much more pleasant. I was always hesitant about purchasing a 144Hz monitor, but I couldn't be happier that I did in the end, and I honestly should have done so a long time ago.

The curve of the screen is subtle, but enough to enhance things just a little bit. It is a really nice feature and just adds to the quality and bang for your buck of this monitor. The entire thing is built well, with a nice and solid aesthetic and feel. The monitor really looks great on my desk, and the curve really made things look a bit nicer. Coming from using a 24" monitor for years, the 3 extra inches has been a really nice improvement, and has enhanced the games that I play greatly. The monitor comes with a Display Port cable, which supports the 144Hz, so no need to worry about having the right cable beforehand.

The monitor is also highly adjustable, and offers a lot more adjustability than most other monitors like this. It offers a height adjustment, a left and right swivel, and a back and forward tilt. This was great, and allowed to set it up on my desk exactly how I like it.

When sitting very close, you will definitely notice the disadvantages of having 1080p on a 27" panel, as the picture was not super clear. But it becomes almost unnoticeable when sitting at a fairly normal distance. The biggest ‘problem’ with the monitor is the fact that the out of the box calibration was rather poor, as the colours seemed to be extremely tinted and warm, but after tweaking things just a little bit in the monitor menu, I was able to create a pleasant viewing experience.

I would say that this monitor beats all other monitors in this price range, being one of the cheapest out there, whilst offering the bonuses such as the curve and the 27 inches. I am very pleased that I purchased this monitor, and I encourage anybody that games frequently to purchase one, as the 144Hz just creates an incredible experience compared to that of 60Hz.
