24" AOC Curved FreeSync Gaming Monitor reviews

Bought as the cheapest 144hz 1080p monitor around, and certainly, don't regret doing so. Limited reviews online made me worried it might not be that good, but so far I've found it comparable to other monitors I own that cost a few hundred more. The curve is just right, refresh rate is great of course – but even just the build quality itself is amazing. Really nice height adjustment system and the tilt function works fine too.

My only issue is there seems to be a slight shadow-like blur around black text, but isn't noticeable from 1/2 m away.

Has a great look, a decent build quality and comes with a great stand that you move the monitor flexibly. The default monitor settings aren't great, but if you google its settings and mess around with colour calibration, it looks amazing. Comes with a DP cable too, which is neat.

Runs like a charm, the 144hz is amazing really makes a difference in gaming. The curve is really nice and not overwhelming, colors are nice even comparable to the colors on my other IPS panel monitor.

As the cheapest 144hz monitor on the market I was a bit hesitant but after listening to my friends (who also have this monitor) I decided to give it a go and boy was it a good choice. The bump from 60hz to 144hz was immediately noticeable, colors look nice after some OSD adjustments, and physical build is seriously great. For those hesitant about the curve I'd say to give it a go anyway. The curve is actually surprisingly very nice to the eye and I now prefer the curve to a flat screen… Seriously recommend this monitor if you're looking for a good quality cheap 144hz monitor!

This monitor is HUGE way bigger then what im used to using its great for gaming too I got my ps4 and gaming pc hooked up to it! game on :P

It just arrived today, and from using it so far it has been very good. Definitely worth the price, easy to setup, and once I played around with the settings on it I could get it just to what colour and picture I want. Would definitely recommend

I have three of these setup to my PC and although they are fantastic for gaming and movies alike I have had one of them start to fail on me with lines starting to appear on the monitor, they go away after a while but still not ideal.

For the price, it's REALLY good. Transitioning from 60 to 144hz was insane! But I had to mess around with the settings, because for one, the contrast was too high. And second, there was this horrible ghosting/motion blur like effect that took me like 2 minutes to find and disable. But once you configure the settings, it's great! I just wish the default settings were better.

I was very happy with the product, all went as it should, runs silky smooth, looks crisp. Unfortunately after a month of use I have already noticed a couple dead pixels. I understand not all customers may have my bad luck so if this is a 1-in-10,000 I would still rate this monitor highly for it being a decent 144hz curved display at a lower cost

This is a great monitor if you’re thinking about upgrading. I upgraded from 60Hz and the difference was amazing. The default colors weren’t that great but once you mess around with the settings it looks great. Definitely will buy another one soon to complete my setup.

By all means a great monitor, especially at this price point. The only downside really is the slight darkness on the screen. Pretty much unnoticeable but you gotta put it around 80 on brightness and medium overdrive in the game settings for it to be back to normal. Other than that, its great. Gonna buy another 1 to complete my set up!

Firstly I would like to buy AOC 24G2, however it is not on sale in New Zealand currently, So I changed to this one. Good in this price range, the brightness is not as bad as I thought, impressively good value. Hope that New Zealand distributors can provide more good products like 24G2.

I only upgraded to a desktop pc January last year and have been using an old TV screen for a monitor. Decided was time for an upgrade and went for this monitor. Cheap pricing for great quality. The colors are beautiful. Every pixel is so clear. The 144hz really helps with the fps in games. I was hesitant of getting a curved monitor at first but its actually really nice, this monitor has a small curve but still supplies you with gameplay that draws you in.

I tried running Civilization 5 (not the world's most hardcore game) at 144hz and the screen begins to flicker when set to run at 144hz :( Very sad! Other than that, a very good monitor.
