"Questions's Answered"
5 stars"

To all who have watched Stanley Kubricks 2001 and questioned just what happened to Astronaught Dave Bowman after he left the Discovery then 2010 will answer your questions. Director Peter Hyams took extreme care to preserve the look of modern day special effects (pre cgi) as anyone who has watched 2001 would agree,Kubricks 1969 journey into space is seamless and in all reality completely believeable. The cast bring forth strong performances to complement a story that will truely test your beliefs in just what may lie beyond our own solar systemPicture perfect 1080p transfer with a thunderous Dolby TrueHD soundtrack, just wait for the scene where the Russian Space Vessle Leonov has to slow itself down, you'll be holding onto the arms of your lazyboy or partner........ An interesting note,in todays world of space travel,a common piece of music played by the Space Shuttle Astronaughts while orbiting earth is the theme to 2001,you can only imagine how wonderous it must sound as they take in the view while orbiting our little planet.
