saints row 2 is very similar to the grand theft auto series but this game is actually fun as it doesn't try to be really gritty and realistic it also doesn't make the same mistake that GTA4 did and that is forgetting that people like games to be enjoyable.

Now all you people out there might be thinking this is just an exact replica of Grand Theft Auto. Even though you might be touching along the lines of the right subject you are wrong. In Saints Row 2 you almost have no story line which means you can get straight into the action and when you are in the action you can not bear to come out to the real world for dinner or work. Saints Row 2 also has a nice little feature Grand Theft Auto has lacked and that is the feature to be able to customize your own character to your liking. Other than those few things Saints Row 2 is like GTA but is funner and way better in most areas. Recommended buy if you like GTA. 4/5

People are comparing it to another game for good reason – if I didn't know better, I would have thought it was another game. The character customization is awesome – I spent the first 15 minutes just crating my character – and the sex of your character has no boundaries. Literally. The gameplay is very good, up until you spend a reasonable amount of time drive – wow the cars handled poorly, and overall the driving seemed very claustrophobic, even when going down multi-lane roads; this was very disappointing. Voice acting is pretty good, although a bit crass (ok, I guess I should expect this-), music isn't so much, but I've never liked the music in these sort of games. Graphics is decent, and although not top-notch, they do the job for this game, and aren't crap by any means :) Overall a pretty good game, but not enough to make me like these games more. 4/5
