This game as another reviewer stated, is atmospheric.

The darkness is definitely a word to describe it but its not scary at all just very “dark and mysterious”.

Gameplay involves running and gunning but also the disposal of the Darklings which can devour your enemies – similar to Overlord but much better.

Some parts of the game are gruesome in that you can rip out your enemies heart or strangle them but nothing too graphic like other games such as FEAR 2, Dead Space, Condemned 2 or Resident Evil 5.

A solid game but nothing brilliant, worth the pick up but you should finish the game fairly quickly.

This parallels CoD2 for atmosphere. I cant think of a better video game to play late at night with the lights off. It's original, it's immersive, and has had plenty of thought go into everything. It even has old cartoons playing in TVs scattered around the game. The graphics, audio, storyline, and value are all top knotch. FPS gameplay could've been improved, namely gun physics, but at the same time the game encourages use of your Darkness powers which use awesome physics. Overall, a very good game.
