If you have tried the previous games in the X series from Egosoft then you
will see a similarity in the way this game is played . Yes the game has been
buggy to start with but with the latest updates it has become a more enjoyable
game. The new graphics engine which is 64 bit by the way boasts some pretty
spectacular visuals I have to admit. Some people will find this game a bit of a
challenge to begin with but once you get the hang of it you will enjoy it. One
really good thing in this game to do with steam is in the main menu there is a
section called extensions which can be created in the X Rebirth
folder under steam apps folder. You are given a option in the steam window for X
Rebirth called Workshop which is where you will find mods created by the
community to improve or make the game more enjoyable such as a jump drive that
will save a lot of time traveling the highways for example. DO CHECK IT OUT if
You like Space Sims.
