Author Biography:

Nicola Mead-Batten is a senior lawyer at award-winning commercial law firm Capital Law based in Cardiff, South Wales. Having spent the formative years of her career at Baker McKenzie in London, Nicola has undertaken a number of secondments during her career including to the Baker McKenzie office in Melbourne, Australia (as part of the firm's Associate Training Programme), Accenture, the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care and the Merchant Navy Officers Pension Fund. Nicola specialises in commercial litigation and public and administrative law. Outside of work, Nicola enjoys spending time with her young family, running and writing.
