Description

Tom had very little, until he had Everything! When a young tomato plant is overlooked at the farmers market in favour of more robust plants, he'd all but given up on himself until one day, when a young girl's compassionate eye sees Tom's potential, and she compels her family to give him a home. Tom the Tomato Plant is a story of awakening, resilience and self-love. It reminds us that caring for others enriches us in return, and it celebrates both the cycle of life and the value of discovering our true purpose. Whether you're an old soul or a young mind, like life itself, this story is best enjoyed with someone you love.

Author Biography:

Dave Carroll is an award-winning singer-songwriter, professional speaker, storyteller, husband and the father of two boys. He is probably best known for his viral YouTube video, "United Breaks Guitars," which led to the publishing of his first book by the same name. He has traveled to over 30 countries since 2010 as a professional speaker, entertaining audiences of all ages with his music, stories and messages founded upon Compassionate Design. He is driven by the belief that we create meaningful impact when we speak from the heart, to the hearts of others. What began as an impromptu bedtime story for his sons has grown into "Tom the Tomato Plant," Dave's first book for younger readers.
