This is a mini series produced by the BBC, that tells the tale of a young girl trying to find her place in the world, and when she sees a woman, acting as a man in play, she realises that her place in the world is one that is not accepted by her family, or society. This is the story of Nan, who follows her heart and her dreams only to have them broken by the woman she trusts and loves. This series is beautiful, yet sorrowful, full of hope yet full of tears. Will Nan ever find the love she craves so much?
