The growth health centers have accomplished forces us to change the way we think. For many years we were Mom & Pop type of business; now we are large multimillion-dollar corporations. My board Treasurer keeps reminding us of this and to think like the organizations we have become. Being a health center board member I also have a day job. A part of my day job is an author. That's why; I felt that this information needed to be shared. My goal for this book is it that it serves as another tool assisting to raise all health centers to high levels of success. Throughout the pages you will find discussion on these principles, their meaning and how they can be applied to our work as boards of directors. You can also think about how they apply to you as an individual and your life in and out of the health center movement.

Author Biography:

David has been recognized many times by both NACHC and MPCA for his work with health centers.
