Description

The Flamingo Anthology of New Zealand Short Stories was published by HarperCollins in 2000, and has been a steady seller since that date. It is now time to update the collection for important short stories published since that date, and to review its overview of New Zealand writing as a whole. The Flamingo Anthology of New Zealand Short Stories is an exciting and different anthology, which will be an invaluable resource for the student of New Zealand literature, whether at tertiary or secondary level. In some instances, it offers two or three stories from particular authors, giving the reader a substantial sample of their work. The anthology will interest the general reader who wants to be made aware of recent trends in New Zealand writing and it will naturally grace the walls of any library or private collection.
