"Bring back Sarah Connor!"
2 stars"

Having enjoyed the first two Terminator movies, I was hoping for more of the same… BUT this may as well have had Sylvester Stallone in the lead role. The plot was about as intricate as a one-rope clothesline, relying instead on action sequence after action sequence. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good action sequence, but some of these scenes were so over-the-top that they became laughable. The grittiness of the first two movies has been replaced with twittiness. Still, some of it was okay, so that's why I give it 2 stars. But as for the ending? Boooo!!

"It kicks automaton posterior!!!"

“I'll be back” – Yup, Arnold Schwarzenegger is back for Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines. This time he has to face a new model of Terminator, the “T-X” sent back in time to complete the mission which was failed by the previous evil Terminator “T-1000” from “Terminator 2”.

This movie is and would have to be the best Terminator so far. The thing I liked the most about it was the action, because it brought the film to life. It is one of the Terminator series, and anyone who's seen them know they are all full of action and this one just keeped the cycle going nicely without letting the rest down. I think the special effects are honorable, everything looks so realistic and detailed. There's everything you'd hope to see from an action film and also the unexpected.

The storyline has advanced and would probably be hard to understand if you were someone who hasn't seen the old Terminators. But I was fond of it because it was really easy to understand. The producer has obviously gone through alot of trouble to make people understand what's going on through events that happen and dialogue coming from the characters.

I like the fact that this film has humour in it. It's a bit of a change from the previous “Terminator 2” but it's clever because it gives you a bit of a laugh when things are getting to serious and at the same time makes it good for audiences of all ages to watch.

The only dislike I have is the the music, because it sort of lets the movie down when there's either no music or quiet music on sequences where you could get a certain emotion from an audience, e.g. sad, scared, confused.

Other than that Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines is rattling.

Description

The Machines Will Rise.

A decade has passed since John Connor helped Judgement Day and save mankind from mass destruction. Now, 25, Connor lives "off the grid"--no home, no credit cards, no cell phone and no job. Connor has no record of his existence. There is no way he can be traced by Skynet--the highly developed network of machines that once tried to kill him and wage war on humanity. Until, out of the shadows of the future steps the T-X, Skynet's most sophisticated cyborg killing machine yet. Sent back through time to complete the job left unfinished by her predecessor, namely the T-1000, the determined T-X is a machine that is as relentless, as is her human guise beautiful. Now Connor's only hope for survival is to annex with the Terminator, T-101, his mysterious former assassin. Together they must triumph over the technologically superior T-X and forestall the looming threat of Judgement Day--or face the apocalypse and the fall of civilization as we know it.
