As mentioned these pencils have soft leads and glide across the page, which make them excellent for colouring. I've had a number of different brands of colour pencils and this set is one of my favourites. I'd definitely purchase them again.
Colours come out lovely but the lead crumbles when sharpening the pencil. A couple of pencils I had to sharpen till just over half way before the lead would was unbroken
