Author Biography:

Van Allen Plexico is a professor of political science and history and a freelance writer/editor. In addition to the Sentinels series, he is the author of the acclaimed SF/fantasy novel Lucian: Dark God's Homecoming, and he co-created and co-edited the adventures of retro-space hero Mars McCoy along with sword-and-sorcery hero Gideon Cain for Airship 27 Productions. His Assembled! books about Marvel's Avengers comics continue to garner praise and to raise money for charity. A member of the Pulp Factory, he also writes and edits for Airship 27 Productions, Swarm Press and other publishers. He has lived in Atlanta, Singapore, Alabama, and Washington, DC, and now resides in the St. Louis area along with his wife, two daughters and assorted river otters.
