It's much better than I expected for the price. Feels solid once constructed. I coated it with linseed oil before I put it together. I'm NOT using it filled with soil, I'm using it as a convenient and nice-looking place to start and grow on my seedlings. I wouldn't put it fully outdoors, but on a covered deck/patio or indoors I think it will hold up for awhile. As a seedling house it is perfect, I can run electric cables through the base and keep them tidy, and the shelf can hold all my bits and pieces.
