This starts of by promising quirky characters and a bit of humour to offset the gore. It soon becomes somewhat annoying and degenerates into a low budget backyard production. It's not all bad and will likely find an audience with people who enjoyed movies like “Toxic avenger” just don't expect big production values. Lot's of blood and guts. There is even stop motion! 2 stars is probable a little mean so if your a fan of cheesy horror go for it!

Astron 6 alumni Steven Kostanski, follows up his acclaimed 2016 Lovecraftian love letter THE VOID with this light-hearted yet ultra-violent slice of cosmic comedy/adventure about an intergalactic warlord who becomes enslaved to pair of Earth children. Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord. Using a magical amulet, they force the monster to obey their childish whims, and accidentally attract a rogues gallery of intergalactic assassins to small-town suburbia.
