Our whole family loves watching this movie. Easy to watch over and over and enjoy more of the subtle cleverness. So much fun!
When it first came out, the film caused such a stir! And no wonder!
A curse, a beautiful girl, a mystery and Johnny Depp. What else do you need- A great start to a fantastic series: it's one for keeps!

Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush star in this Disney swashbuckler directed by Gore Verbinski. When Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), the daughter of Governor Swann (Jonathan Pryce), is kidnapped by Captain Barbossa (Rush) and his band of pirates, lovelorn Will Turner (Bloom) goes to her rescue.
Needing help to get on board the pirates' ship, Will enlists eccentric captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) and quickly sets off in pursuit.
