Author Biography:

Richard Shiff is a well-known art historian and critic. He has written many books on artists as diverse as Paul Cezanne and Richard Mangold. He is a professor of art history at the University of Texas, Austin. Catherine Lampert is an independent curator and writer based in the UK.
