The purpose of this work was to explore the perceptions of parents, teachers, students and SMC members towards the female principals of their schools. It also aimed at exploring the perceptions of the female principals on their own school leadership practices. Moreover, the study also unearthed the influence of their perceptions upon the practices of school leadership of the female principals under this study. The major findings of this study revealed the aspects of female principals' personality, their role as promoter, change agent and evaluator and monitor, their self- perception and how the perception influenced their performance
