Finally, an option for those that don't want or can't make use of the 3D features. Drastically reducing the price of the machine.
People laughing about it don't seem to get it. This is a console for those that don't yet have a 3DS that wanted a price drop or didn't want to pay for a feature they didn't want. It's that simple.
This product is basically aimed directly at me. I never got a 3ds, and I'm in no way interested in the 3d-o-vision thing. But with this product I will be able to catch up with more current games on handheld devices, such as the upcoming Pokemon x & y. I am absolutely going to get this product ASAP.
As soon as I saw this new handheld I knew I wanted it, it reminds me of the old Gameboy. This isn't a step backwards, it's a product for those who remember the good old days, already pre-ordered this along with my copy of the new Pokémon game, can't wait

A brilliant idea for those who could never justify the price of a 3DS for how few good 3DS exclusive games there are. However now with Pokémon coming out in 3D, sales would have skyrocketed! This new design and cheaper price really shows Nintendo care about their customers and aren't just in it for the money <3 The only thing I wonder about it is the screen size; is it the same as he XL or the original size-
