Description

The Mercedes SLK / SLC R172 is the first small roadster that looks like its big brother, the SL. The advantage of this is that for considerably less money you get a car that looks almost like the SL. The similarity continues inside, where the quality and level of equipment has improved significantly. And it makes no difference whether you prefer the SLK250 CDI or the SLK55 / SLC43. Most of the engines guarantee a lot of fun. This guide has been completely revised and reissued in February 2024. It covers both the SLK and the SLC and its comprehensive buyer's guide can help you find the right one for you. These are some of the topics covered: Development of the R172 Troubleshooting the vario-roof Engines from the SLC180 to the SLK55 AMG Chassis and interior R172 buyer's guide The COMAND system The option packages The special editions from Edition 1 to Final Edition The tuners, from Brabus and Carlsson to RENNtech The VIN and data explained SLK model codes Technical data Power and torque curves for each engine The book ends with a free e-book offer. Enjoy the reading!
