Description

Today he is old enough to accompany his brother on his tour of the city. And the afternoon they spend together is filled with the magic of what they see around them- From the bright sun of the fields to the sweets in the shop window of the bakery. But when he picks up a dandelion that grows on the concrete, he wonders what else he could want . . . and then decides to go out in search of the perfect desire. In this new collaboration, Matt de la Pena and Christian Robinson, awarded for their work in Last Stop on Market Street, which won the Newbery Medal and Caldecott Honor Mention for the English edition, have created an ode, moving and current, to the courage of the dreamers and to the power of hope.
