Micah Player (Lately Lily creative director and illustrator) was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and  was drawn to apparel design after working at Paul Frank. Micah is the auhor and illustrator of the picture book Lately Lily: The Adventures of a Travelling Girl, and the illustrator of the Lately Lily Travel Flash Cards, Lately Lily Sunny Yellow Suitcase, Around the World Puzzle, the Around the World Matching Game, and the author and illustrator of Chloe, Instead.
