The microKEY 25 features excellent portability, allowing you to enjoy playing and producing with a great-feeling keyboard even when you're away from home. It features an expressive Joystick, as traditionally found on larger controllers, and provides simultaneous control of multiple parameters at the same time, along with control of the built-in tempo-synced arpeggiator function.
That’s not all; the microKEY25 can be powered directly from your iPad via the Camera Connection Kit, and it can be immediately used to control MIDI-capable apps such as Korg’s iMS-20. The microKEY25 also includes a download code for FREE Korg M1Le software, giving you all of the preset sounds and all of the PCM waveforms of the original M1, and a browser/search function that makes it easy to find that perfect sound.
Also included are licenses for Applied Acoustics Systems' Strum Acoustic Session, Lounge Lizard Session, and Ultra Analog Session as well as a license for Toontrack's software drum sound module EzDrummer Lite.

“..a great keyboard. the software bundle is worth twice the price of this controler. it is plug and play on mac and pc. keys feel good. can transpose keys as well as octaves. joy stick is cool and can be used as an ingenious arppegiator controller. my only gripe is the sustain button, no pedal jack. but if you have a soldering iron and jack there is a mod on youtube. everything works perfect!! going to buy the 37 key model too.” parker
“I bought my iPad Mini hoping that it would work with this keyboard. I heard so many forums stating that it does not work with the iPad mini due to little electrical current supplied by this model that it was really a blind bet. My surprise was seeing it work right away with Garage Band. I also bought the Lighting to USB Camera Adapter for the iPad mini so I could plug the keyboard to the iPad. It is running iOS 6.1. The feel of the keys is very responsive, better that I expected almost semi-weighted. The size of the keys are good and matched what I already has read on other reviews. I do miss not having at least one more octave but I know it was a trade for having a convenient size and also knowing that it's the only model that can be powered by the iPad. Nevertheless I'm getting used with the two octaves and the octave button. I did get the software bundle for free: M1 Le, EZ drummer, Ableton, Lounge Lizard session, Ultra Analog session and Strum session. So if your not sure that this keyboard might please you, consider the amount of software that comes with it. For me, it was a no-brainer deal and I'm happy with either the software and keyboard.” blueman
“Plugged it in and Live recognized it immediately. Build quality seems good; nice and light without anything feeling too flimsy or fragile. The keys have a very light action and don't feel too small; they're fine for a compact controller. The joystick is ok, though I'd prefer wheels. The buttons feel good, and the colored LEDs for showing the current octave work great. In the end, it's a solid compact controller that's worth its price. It has a nice clean aesthetic and looks great in front of my Slim Phatty.I find myself occasionally wishing I had a few more keys, maybe 32 or 37, but I don't have the room and I have a 61 key synth off to the side for that. If you don't have anything else, I'd recommend going with the 37-key version for a few more keys and mod/pitch wheels.” silver
