Description

Jiffy the cat loves to express himself through song. That would be just fine by his human family, the Bees, if he didn't go on all night! A laugh-out-loud story, which also introduces children to telling the time, by award-winning author Catherine Chidgey.

Author Biography:

Catherine Chidgey’s novels include The Axeman’s Carnival, The Wish Child and In a Fishbone Church. She has won the inaugural Prize in Modern Letters; the Katherine Mansfield Fellowship to Menton, France; Best First Book at both the New Zealand Book Awards and the regional Commonwealth Writers’ Prize; the Acorn Foundation Fiction Prize; and the Janet Frame Fiction Prize. Jiffy’s Greatest Hits is (unfortunately) a true story. Cat-lover Astrid Matijasevich is a graphic designer and book illustrator who has illustrated over 50 educational books for children. She uses a variety of media including ink and watercolour, and digital illustration. Previous books she has illustrated include Honk by Elizabeth Pulford and Jiffy, Cat Detective by Catherine Chidgey.
