One of the great lines in motion picture history to be sure,the release of Highlander on Bluray is a welcome addition to anyones library,stunning 1080p transfer with a huge surround sound digital soundtrack,this is the extended version with added scenes that were deemed to violent on its theatrical release,Christopher Lambert shines as the immortal Highlander yet need I say Sean Connery steels the movie,Clancy Brown creates one of the screens most evil bad guys ever conceived,a role he found very hard to play to which you discover in three documentarys which follow the development and making of the movie. The rest is history with Highlander going on to create a franchise that is still as ever popular as it was on its release in 1986,and yes the word is that the franchise intends to be rebooted with a new version of this timeless classic. A must have for all who love the thrill of adventure,action,good guys and bad.
