I've always liked the story of the Lorax, so was a bit nervous about it coming to the big screen and having to be fleshed out enough to make a movie, but this is quite a good adaptation. The added material keeps to the environmental theme (although with a bit too much emphasis on air pollution, instead of the ecosystem) and the songs are good (nothing that sticks in your head, but nothing that sends you screaming from the room either).

MA refunded me the cost, but reassured me last week that the listing would be updated – but it clearly hasn't been yet. :-S Movie: My partner has little patience for “silly” and was silent through the first 15 min… but when he started to giggle I knew we had him! It's not an exact adaption, but it's not bad. It has tried to update the situation and plays a lot on the commercialism in our world. I could watch it again… just not TOO often.
