Description

Feldstein is best known as the main writer/editor of the EC comics line during the first half of the 1950s - and then as the editor of Mad Magazine for the first three decades of its existence. Yet many don't realise that he was an accomplished cartoonist who put his talents to good use; he created grotesque creatures and scenes of ghastly destruction with aplomb. This volume collects Feldstein's contributions to EC's two sci-fi titles, Weird Science and Weird Fantasy - comprising 16 classic shock-ending stories.

Author Biography:

Albert B. Feldstein (1928-2014; Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame, 2003) was a triple-threat writer, artist, and editor, renowned for his work on such titles as Weird Science, Tales From the Crypt, and Mad magazine. He received the Bram Stoker Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. Gary Groth is the co-founder of The Comics Journal and Fantagraphics Books. He lives in Seattle.
