This card is no good for a workstation or if you want to make use of the PCI-e slot next to it, the heatsink is ridiculously oversized. I would suggest the EVGA version of the the same chip if you want a fan less card with a low profile option as the heatsink on that one takes up no space at all and doesn't interfere with the next slot.
This card makes no noise at all and easily handles full HD 1080p content… Love that the audio stream is also sent via HDMI…
