Author Biography:

Rob Carver is a certified USPTA Elite Professional and the owner of Rob Carver Tennis Inc. since 1992. He teaches approximately 160 students per week throughout Marietta and Roswell, GA, of ages ranging from 5 to 75 years old. Rob graduated from Berry College with a degree in Psychology. Rob played collegiate tennis at Truett McConnell University and Berry College. At Truett McConnell, he was voted team Captain, a Captain's award winner, and Co-MVP. At Berry College, he was a two-time Conference Champion and received the Most Improved College Male Player award by the Coosa Valley Tennis Association in his senior year. His overall collegiate record was 105 wins and 45 losses. In his playing after college, he earned a #1 ranking in doubles and a #6 ranking in singles in the state of Georgia. In 2016, he was named "Tennis Pro of the Year" by Best Self Atlanta Magazine. Rob still enjoys competing and plays at the AA level of ALTA, which is the world's largest tennis league. He has been a speaker and presenter for the USPTA Georgia Chapter, as well as a college consultant for several colleges. He is a certified Cardio Tennis Instructor, a longtime member of the Wilson Advisory Staff, and a Special Olympics volunteer. In 2015, he created the Wilson Challenge, a men's tournament that has grown in popularity in the Metro Atlanta area. Rob has also produced over 100 videos on YouTube.
