Celebrate with an All Blacks UE BOOM Giveaway!

By Andi

It's almost a week later, and we're still stoked with the outcome of the game on the weekend. Good job boys, way to bring home the cup!

It seems the folks at Logitech feel the same way, as they've given us an All Blacks UE BOOM to give away in celebration!

You have to see these things in action. Not only do they provide amazing audio anywhere you want, but they blast out national pride every time you turn them on by chanting the Haka!

We're making the chance to win so easy! Simply tell us about your favourite memory as an All Blacks supporter. It could be witnessing an amazing play by our boys in black, or just a great day at the stadium with the mates.

Let us know in the comments below, but be quick! We're selecting the best one tomorrow!

It would have to be at the 2011 World Cup as a volunteer walking up Queen Street just behind the truck that held Richie and the World Cup. Although been at Eden Park last Saturday and watching them annihilate Australia came pretty close.

My favorite memory is a simple one. Sitting down watching that world cup final. For some unknown a prayed for the All blacks to win. I said I don't care by how much, even it's by one point just make them win.
Well that worked out alright lol
Far too hung over the following day but it was worth it

My favourite memory is the wonder that was/is Christian Cullen. Watching him in action was like watching poetry in motion. Most skillful AB we have ever had.

Ok, it's geeky I know. But back in 2012 Cruden was hanging around New World in Hamilton. I did the stare (you know the one, you're not looking but you are). Yip, that's an All Black memory.

Best moment was seeing Ritchie McCaw and Dan Carter at Auckland Airport.

Favourite memory would be going to my son's Rugby World Cup Day at his school back in 2011. Dressed in my All Blacks shirt and having a bunch of kids freak out because they thought I was an actual All Black. Kids wanting my autograph until one of them recognised me and let everyone know that I wasn't one. The collective moan of disappointment was simply hilarious. Though I admit, the feeling of being an All Black for a few seconds was pretty awesome.

Has to be when the mighty ABs took out Australia in the RWC 2011 semis. The France game was great, and they were our arch enemys in that tournament, but we just played so beautifully against the Aussies in that game, left me wanting to run on the street chanting. Soooo good.

My favourite memory of all blacks was when I was a kid, and my mother and father let me stay up to watch the game.
I recall the black and white TV, jumping up and down and yelling when we scored! It was Super exciting !

my favorite moment was two - watching the first game in the 2011 rugby world cup vs tonga in the city and then again watching them win the final at a mates and just running outside afterward screaming our lungs out at how happy we were we'd just won and heading into the city to celebrate with everyone.

My favourite memory was watching the All Blacks play Australia on the telly when we lived in Sydney. The national anthems were about to start, and my wife decided to show her national pride by humming the NZ one.

But due to what I can only assume was an overindulgence in all things from the good old US of A, she starts humming The Star Spangled Banner instead. She only noticed her error when I pointed it out to her. And I now remind her of this whenever we sit down to watch an ABs game together :-)

Best moment would have to be the game the all blacks played against Fiji at Carisbrook.
Being the last test match held at Carisbrook it was always going to be special and the All Blacks came out fighting from the start. This was a great spectacle and also great as it raised a lot of money for the Christchurch Earthquake appeal, not a dry eye in the place. Was a great way to prepare for the world cup that's for sure.

First game at the cake tin with the old man. Just a great memory.

Either that or that time one of the Saffa players described being tackled by Jerry Collins thusly: "It was like running into a brick shithouse"

Dad waking me up in the wee small hours to watch a game on TV from 'the other side of the world' with him, when i was a little fulla. We always had a Milo at half time. Back in the days of Grant Batty on the wing.

My top moment is an old one but it doesn't mean it has to be forgotten. It's the 1996 series win in South Africa. I wasn't even born then, but I watched it and without a doubt, it's my choice of the greatest moment of All Blacks.

    These are great guys!
    Keep 'em coming!

  • Louise says: 28 August 2014, 4:14pm

Getting up in the middle of the night with dad to watch a game while hiding under a duvet on the couch. At half time we had milos with ginger nuts for dunking. I'm not sure I really enjoyed the game back then past the haka, and watching the kicking but I loved hanging out with my Dad!

Back in the Days of the Probables vs the Probables in Rotorua when you were still allowed to run on the pitch after the game, got to meet all of my heroes and got a ball signed by them (that I still have) Joe Stanley, Buck Shelford, Fitzy. Foxy and heaps of others. Best Rugby memory ever!

  • Sean says: 28 August 2014, 9:23pm

My favourite memory of the All Blacks is being in the cloud during the RWC final and looking at all the fans excited faces when Richie McCaw raised the trophy and when John Key was involved in the three-person handshake.

  • Jason says: 28 August 2014, 9:26pm

    oops, possibles vs probables

  • Kimberly says: 28 August 2014, 11:01pm

Another World Cup story from the 2011 final. We watched it at home, but my partner was so nervous he couldn't stay seated. He was up from the couch every 2 minutes, then I'd tell him to sit down, and he'd do it... For 2 minutes. Then he was up again. You would have thought that when Tony Woodcock scored he would have calmed, but that just made him worse. He kept talking about 1995 and how his "heart was ripped out" and how it was going to happen again. And then we won. He stared blankly at the screen for a minute then said, "well that wasn't too bad." I just about laughed until I cried.

It would have to be when I went to the ticker tape parade in Auckland city after the 2011 rugby world cup win. Such a great moment for NZ sport, being the host country and the champions. It also got a lot of New Zealanders to celebrate together as a community across the whole country.

  • Mac says: 29 August 2014, 1:30am

Most memorable moment was the game in Johannesburg against South Africa in 1997 where Frank Bunce carved up big time after the NZ media bagged him for being too old and should be replaced. He scored two amazing tries that day and I was fortunate to witness it live as we were on a school tour. Even better remembered for getting oranges chucked at us after the game as the All Blacks won. All Black all day, every day

  • Grant says: 29 August 2014, 2:36am

I'd have to go with Jonah Lomu going through 3 English players in the 1995 world cup semifinal.
