Shure PGX Wireless Kits

By Keegan

Many of us grew up with the name Shure —and its ubiquitous ball-end SM58 mic.

Although over the decades, the company has stuck to guns with all the golden oldies, it's rolled with the times too and continued to develop wireless and wired tech for a variety of applications.

They've got it down with the latest wireless gear, offering features and prices to suit—including the PGX Digital wireless system.

The receiver is compact and utilitarian. Antennas and controls are on the front, with connectors on the rear. According to the specifications, line-of-sight working range is 200 feet (60 metres).

Tone and signal loss are the two most common issues with wireless kits, whether for instruments or vocals, but Shure is known for their professional, road-ready and stage-ready gear around the world. The PGXD14 (for guitars, basses & lavaliers) and PGX24 (complete with SM58 vocal mic) do not disappoint.

The PGX Kits come with a choice protective case – hard on the outside, padded on the inside to ensure they stay protected, while also warm ‘n’ fuzzy.

Let's have a closer look.

Make sure you hit up our Shure Store on Mighty Ape to check out all the dope goodies we're packin'!
