Instead of rotating complex shapes, you work with vertical three-gem columns and cycle their order as they fall, making the game focus on planning lines, diagonals, and cascades with simple but demanding rules.

In Columns for the Sega Master System, your goal is to align three or more matching jewels horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to clear them from the playfield. As matches disappear, the pieces above can drop into new positions and create additional clears, so strong play depends on setting up chain reactions, keeping the board under control, and surviving longer as the speed increases.
