Description

Discover the truths of motherhood no one talks about and equip yourself with tangible tools to navigate this radical life transformation. In You'll Bounce Right Back, licensed marriage and family therapist Andrea S. Knox debunks ten motherhood myths-social stories showing only the side of motherhood that is natural, beautiful, and blissful. Through sharing her own parenthood experiences, stories from her therapy office, interviews with experts, research, and insight from over 120 moms, she offers a path to discovering motherhood that is authentic, empowered, informed, and supportive of a mother's needs and values.

Author Biography:

Andrea Knox is the author of You'll Bounce Right Back-she is also an educator and myth-buster dedicated to revealing the truths of motherhood that no one talks about. She is on a mission to radically transform how women prepare for becoming mothers. Her work draws on a decade of experience working with perinatal women and couples as a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified life coach. She was inspired to lift up families in the transition to parenthood after struggling to navigate becoming a first-time mom herself. She believes that equipping mothers with quality information, transparency, and tools will significantly improve the transition to parenthood. She lives in San Diego, California with her husband and children, two cats, and an elderly python.
