Xbox One 500GB Console reviews

When it first came out the system was very underwhelming, the UI was slow and there were just no games out there for the console. However now that the Xbox is getting monthly updates and there are some decent games id say its well worth the price tag. Microsoft are listening to the user base and implementing ideas that are given back.

The UI is faster, more responsive, easier to navigate and Kinect voice support is coming to NZ this month. Plus lets not forget that Halo is coming out in November.

I was very reserve when the new gen of consoles came out. Was leaning towards the PS4 but managed to convince myself that the Xbox one was the better suit for me. The graphics are amazing and the seemless connection onto the wifi network works well. I believe the Xbox one is underated and people will enjoy using it if they get one

It looks nice and purdy next my TV. It has really unified the lounge into one room and given it homely feel.

I like the idea of having Kinect as optional only… but my problem is, and I suspect this is many 360 gamers “problem”,… we are still playing the 360 and Microsoft, developers etc are still developing games for 360 which is understandable but eventually there will need to be a complete transition over, to the new Xbox One/PS4/new generation consoles. Until then, Xbox One is going to need more “hardcore gamer” games for it, and a gradual discontinuation over a certain period of time of releasing 360/PS3 games but for now gonna keep playing 360.

The xbox has given me hours of fun with really nothing that has gone wrong. There are a few things you have to get used to that aren't in the previous generation but they are so small it's barely even trouble. I would recommend it to anyone interested in console gaming!

This Consolo is awesome I buy titanfall a nd I got a lot of hour if fun and im waiting for the awesomes games that are coming in 2015 like Master Chief Collection , Assassins Creed , etc , I recommend this consolo to everyone that want some fun :D

With DX12 and cloud computing most games by the end of 2015 will be on 1080p and 30/60fps on both consoles.

Exclusives should be deciding factor between the two consoles.

P.S I bought a Xbox One in November and will buy a PS4 Uncharted bundle in 2015

Even though this is a massive step in the right direction it's still not fixed. 10% of performance is still dedicated to kinect even without having the kinect device. It still only runs at 720p (Mostly), some games cap at 30fps and finally the system specs are still worse than the PS4. This is by no means a bad console, it's cheaper than the PS4 now however if you're looking for the best console I'd advice buying the PS4.

The platform needs a lot more ‘G’ and ‘PG’ rated games that are suitable for younger pre-teen players.

Why buy an xbox where you can buy a gaming computer/laptop and it uses the same operating system as windows
