Emphatically YES!! The stick is of a quality I would expect from the aircraft industry. It is cold steel and will probably last longer than me. The throttle control is like something out of Darth Vaders bathroom and when the green LED's light up, it is an attractive sight. I was a bit surprised by the amount of play in the throttles though. I expected the same quality and precision that went into the stick, but it is still within acceptable parameters. Now all I need is the DCS A10c game and I suspect the wife will be asking for a divorce (presuming I am not so engrossed that I even know she is home). Give it a try if you are serious about simming, it is worth your while.

This joystick set up is amazing. A prefect companion for DCS and flexible enough to suit any flight sim or space sim game. For the helicopter simmers out there you can even get extensions.

Build quality is excellent. Can't comment on software as its basically already set up in DCS world which is what I use mine for. Overall a 10/10

This is a very high quality and awesome piece of equipment if you're wanting to do simulators. If you have the money then this is great. The one downside to this for me is the lack of twisting joystick. Soon I will get some pedals but would have been nice to have the twist for being at such a high price. But it's very sturdy (and heavy) and mostly made of metal.

I've been using this for a month now with DCS F18 and love every moment of it. It cost a bit more but purchasing through Mighty Ape saved me the hassle of going through Amazon or AliExpress. I saved me about $100 compared to other NZ outfits who charged a bit more. Setting up was a breeze plugged both usb ports into the computer and DCS picked it up right away. I downloaded Spud knockers profile and had to reference the chart a lot for which buttons and switches were mapped too. I'm also using this with TrackIR and on a curved widescreen and has added to a wonderful flight experience.

I’ve been playing DCS A10c Warthog since it first came out. I used a Logitech Extreme 3D and loved it… Until I finally invested (yes – it is an investment!) in the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. It’s plug and play in DCS, so don’t even load Target. It’s the most massive improvement in playability and enjoyment I’ve had. Just buy it! You will not look back! And the Mighty Ape price is the best anywhere in NZ. Thanks Mighty Ape!

The quality of this hotas is incredible upgrading from the t16000m was a big jump! The only thing on the throttle that bugs me is the awful slew. Do yourself a favour and buy the upgrade from delta sim electronics, it completes the setup. Note the throttle has weighted plates in it to make it feel heavier and more “expensive” These are removable if looking to setup on a desk mount later.

Whether you play DCS or just Microsoft flight Simulator it's the perfect setup, I've used many sticks and throttle setups but the warthog is streets ahead, smooth as silk and allows for fine adjustments when you need them its awesome.

The set up own its own is pretty solid, probably the most immersive setup money can buy but the software that supports it is not user friendly at all.

Great piece of gaming, only thing you must be aware of there no Yaw on the stick, but makes up for it on access to controllers ie the hat and trigger switches. So is it worth the money- if you want the feeling of a realistic cockpit you wouldn't buy any other.

Controllers don't come much better than this one – if you want the best, this is it!

I've been doing flight sims since 1992 and the Warthog outstrips anything I have ever had! It's design is brilliant and the quality is a league ahead of anything else out there. It is on par with what you will find in a cockpit of a real jet It is plug and play with DCS-A10C and if you combine this with rudder pedals it is quite realistic.
