this is not actually the first time the whole G1 series have been released in a full box set. i have the 1st original G1 box set on DVD that came in an exclusive and not to mention limited edition steel tin case and comic booklet that i purchased about 3–4 years ago and was released in NZ in limted numbers. this particular collection should be under $100 though as it does not include the steel collectors tin and booklet. the collectors edition i have was $100 upon release. very good collection for all the 80's kids (like me hehe) you cant beat the original G1 series. though transformers prime is doin ok.
