I watched season 2and 3 before I could get season 1, I thoroughly enjoyed everything in the first two , season 1 didn't disappoint, I'm now waiting for season 4. Can't wait.

NZ's Midsummer Murders
Great show, actors and stories. And also funny too. Recommend it
I love this quirky mystery series. If you enjoy Midsomer Murders, you will love it too
This excellent murder mystery show involves some smart writing, superb performances, and deft use of Kiwi wit. There are also distinctly New Zealand themes throughout each episode, making this show truly one of our own and giving this popular genre a solidly Kiwi entry that never disappoints. Many cast favourites as well as recurring guests make for an addictive and enjoyable programme. I am lucky enough to live nearby the main shooting locations and have already taken the first of likely several road trips inspired by this show. Enjoy.
I enjoy this series very much. Characters are not so predictable and story lines are varied and interesting.
Watched all three seasons just waiting for series 4 to come now.
Good stories and great characters
This series is a great advocate for Kiwi Television. Can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD!
