If you want to play fighting games, you need a stick. If you're serious about it, and want to play competitively, you need a reliable stick which performs to the highest standard – the tournament standard.
This is that stick.
The Sanwa parts are the smoothest and most precise available, the box is large and hefty enough to not move around at all (even on your lap), and the little touches like the cord compartment and lock switch for the guide button add a touch of class. The start and select buttons are well out of the way so you won't accidentally press them during a tourney (earning a disqualification). A port on the front is available for your headset.
For you modders, the insides are heaven to work with as well, quick disconnects everywhere, and plenty of room. Art swaps are not difficult either.
While you may be astounded by the price tag, you would be hard pressed to make a stick of this quality for the same price, and if you take this hobby seriously, it's a small price to pay in the long run.
