For a money bank that talks to you when you make a deposit this item was an awesome price. The detail is wonderful as well, made of high quality plastic. I have a lot of R2D2 products from mighty ape and this one is one of my favorites. The batteries can be replaced so if you look after it this money bank will last a long time.

Bought this as a gift for a Star Wars fan and its a novel gift. Something to bring a smile to a true fan of Star Wars. Now if only they had a Ewok one for me!

Great sounds and will thrill my son although it is much smaller than I had thought size of an average adult's hand. Looks larger on the photo.

Have wanted my own droid since Episode IV first released, and now finally have one. Small, but a good start! Perhaps R2 (& 1/4) will help me save enough for larger R2 (& 1/2) unit! Agree with others comments, and only point I would add is that contrary to video example, my R2 required several coins to go through complete sounds sequence.

This is awesome, just needs to be bigger. If they're gonna make them so small, they should bring out a C-3PO and other characters so you can fill em all up.
Cool. My only concern is its already full of coins.
Great for any star wars fan to save their coins in. I brought this for my teenage son, and he loves it.
